The 3-day Fundamentals Course provides transport professionals with a comprehensive introduction to the public transport sector, both in Australia/New Zealand and globally. Drawing on both the global reach of UITP and the local expertise of professionals in the region, the programme provides a foundational understanding of key issues and ideas in transport, aimed at young professionals, graduates, and more senior professionals new to the transport sector.

Australian Transport Summit
UITPANZ runs a regular series of Master Classes each year that is aimed at promoting knowledge exchange and best practice among members and non-members on topics that contribute to advancing public transport. Master Classes provide attendees a deep dive into key issues in the transport sector. Held over a half or full day, the format allows for a comprehensive examination and discussion of issues from a range of industry and government perspectives. Master Classes are held regularly throughout the year on a range of topics.
Young Transport Professionals’ Seminar
The annual YTP Seminar is designed to engage young professionals and emerging leaders in the transport sector and key issues and ideas that will define the future of mobility. The Seminar involves a wide range of presentations from transport authorities, operators, industry and academic institutions.
Our Young Transport Professionals Bursary, seeing two young professionals join us at the Global Public Transport Summit, is launched at YTP Seminars occurring in even years.
